Welcome to Southampton University Christian Union
Congratulations on your results and on securing your place at Southampton University! We’re the Christian Union and we’re so excited to welcome you!
What is the Christian Union?
We are a student-led community, committed to giving every student at Southampton University an opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We run events each week during term time, including prayer meetings, Bible studies and a large Friday night gathering called Unite. We also run several big outreach events throughout the year, including a carol service at Christmas and a week of events in February. Find out what’s on.
Get involved
It can be daunting to start University, especially as a Christian, but we want to help make the transition as smooth as possible. We have a number of freshers week events planned for you, and would love to see you there!
We also believe that attending a local church is really important - Southampton has a vast network of supportive church communities who are waiting to welcome you. Check out Church Search to find a church near you!
What's On
Halls Move-In
Do you need help moving into halls? Members of the CU will be available in the halls common rooms to welcome you, help you move in & provide an insight into university life.
Picnic
Bring along a picnic for an opportunity to hang out on campus, have some food and some conversation! Located on the green space between The Arlott and Turner Sims.

An evening of dancing, with music provided by Folksoc. Invite friends along for some fun and dancing with a testimony!
