During Freshers’ Week we are also running events @ WSA to welcome students to WSA.

Move-in - 19th, 20th & 22nd September

As you arrive in Winchester, keep an eye out for people in blue t-shirts: these will be members of the Christian Union who are there to help you move your stuff into your rooms. Come and say ‘Hi’ and they’ll be able to give you more information about the local area, university, and Christian Union.

Erasmus Park BBQ - 24th September


Come and join us for a BBQ. Look out for our blue t-shirts from 1-3pm; grab a burger (veggie options available), and chat to us about uni life, CU and anything else.

WSA Conversation Café - 25th September

This will be the first weekly conversation café of the year at WSA. The cafés will run every Tuesday, for International Students, 1800 – 1900, in term-time. Offering opportunities to make friends, practice conversing with native English speakers, there will be different conversation topics every week, and free cakes and drinks.

Historic Winchester Tour - 29th September

Winchester is a historic English city. Few people know was the first Captial City of England. Join ourselves and friends from Friends International for a guided tour of historic Winchester to find out more about your new home. Meet at Winchester Train Station 0950 or the Cathedral 1015. WSA Big Day - 2nd October

Find us in the WSA Café during the WSA Big Day. In the evening we’ll be having a special Conversation Café with food.

The Mark Drama - 3rd October

Have you ever wondered who this Jesus, that so many people talk about, is? Come along to a 90-minute performance of this real story, based on an eye-witness account of Jesus’ life. at Winchester Baptist Church starting at 1930. We’d love to see you there! Facebook Event.

Conversation Café

We meet in the WSA Café at 1930 on Tuesdays, offering the opportunity for international students to practice English and have fun together. There will be different conversation topics every week, and free cakes and drinks.

Hall Group

Erasmus Park

If you’re a fresher, or you’re living in halls, Hall Groups are for you! Whether you’d say you’re a Christian, or just curious, you’re welcome. Hall groups are a space to pray, worship, and discuss the Bible with your fellow hall mates in order to equip you to share the amazing news of Jesus. Host outreach events in your halls too – be as creative as you like!
