SUCU Newsletter

Sorry this is so late, but the newsletter is finally here!

Join us tonight for Unite, in the usual place, Building 32/ Room 1015 at 19:30. Chris Collinson will be joining us as we look at James 2:14-26, and how we can put our faith into action. As sadly Niv is leaving us at the end of this year, Chris will be our new staff worker, so tonight is also a fantastic opportunity to get to know him before he joins us in September. Pre Unite Prayer is also happening at 19:00 in the lobby, and it would be great to see you there.

Forum National

Do you want to see God’s love spread through our campus? Do you long for ways to be equipped for sharing the gospel? Are you excited by the many amazing things Christian students are doing on campuses all over the country? Well then have no fear, Forum National is here!

From 28th August – 1st September, over 1,000 CU members from all over the country will be gathering in Wales for a week of teaching, equipping, praying, learning, planning and fun! It is open to everybody in CU, and is an opportunity not to be missed! Please do book on here. If you have any questions, chat to anyone on committee or anybody else you know who has been before, we would love for you all to be there!

Freshers sign up

Summer is almost here, which means Freshers’ Week is not far away! We would love to have a real presence on campus during the start of the term, so that we can welcome the new freshers in the same way that God has welcomed us. However, we can only do that if we all come together and sign up to help!

Here is the sign up. You don’t have to commit to specifics yet, just show your interest!

Buddy sign up

Joining university can be incredibly scary, and we want to be supporting all students who are coming to our campus in September. One way we can do this is by signing up to be a buddy! This gives you an amazing opportunity to get to know a Fresher, and help them settle into university, church and CU. Sign up here, or contact Chris Walker if you have any questions.

KMCF Worship Night

KMCF are having a worship event tomorrow night in Garden Court. It will be an amazing evening, with live music, worship and prayer. All are very welcome, so go along and invite your friends!

Where: Garden Court (Building 40)

When: Saturday 5th May from 17:30
