Come along tomorrow for our main weekly meeting, Unite! This is an opportunity to be equipped for our mission on campus, and spend time together in worship and fellowship. This week we are starting our series on the Miracles in Mark, and Tom Heasman will be speaking to us on Mark 1:21-34, a man with an evil spirit.

Before Unite each week we have a time of prayer and reflection, which everybody is welcome to. This is a valuable time to come together and prepare our hearts for an evening of hearing from God.

Journey – the follow up course

We have had an incredible few weeks telling people about Jesus, and many people now have questions that need an answer. One of the ways we can help them explore Christianity is through our follow up course. Journey is a series of evening events that starts tonight! There will be a short talk about the gospel, and then an opportunity for discussion and questions. Please be inviting your friends, and also coming along to help out. Speak to Matt Muli if you have any questions or want to get involved.

Where: Building 54/7033

When: 4/10/18 at 19:30 (tonight)

Weekend Away

The Weekend Away is next weekend! We are heading to the Isle of Wight for a weekend of teaching, worship and fellowship with students new and old. Pete will be posting more details soon, so watch this space.

It is also not too late to sign up! You can do so here.

Giving Auction

At the Weekend Away we will be having our Giving Auction to raise money for SUCU. If you already have a great idea for something to offer then fill out the google form here.

If you have no idea what this is about, do not fear! Nathan will be explaining more about it at Unite tomorrow.

Grub Crawl

Are you a fresher? Already fed up of having to cook for yourself? Then Grub Crawl is exactly the thing for you! On Saturday 20th October you will be treated to a three course meal across three different second/ third year houses, one course at each house. It’s a great opportunity to get to know the wider CU and fellow freshers better, as well as eat some home cooked food. We need both freshers and older students to be signing up, look out for more details soon.

It is not too late to sign up for a buddy! It’s a great way to get connected with the CU, as well as have a friendly face to ask questions to. If you are a fresher then please sign up here.
